On December 23 of this year I will experience my 20 th year of continuous Lupron. Side effects have waned some but are all still there. Exercise exercise exercise. When you are tired.....sleep.
Note: I met e new Lady about two years ago and she inspired me sexually for the first time in 18 years. You are capable of a “DryOrgasm” with vibrator stimulation to the soft little stub. Ironically the sensation is stronger and more intense than the usual and it lasts longer! I can get three orgasms in one session. Need to be mentally in the mood first. Of course.
Quality of Life is still acceptable!

Whoa Daddy! This is an amazing story...So miracles do happen for you . 20 years on Lupron must be close to a record . Love rules ..Great for you ! Thanks for sharing . 🎄
Fantastic! what was yoour Gleason score at diagnosis and how advanced? Did you have radiation, operation or chemo or only lupron?
Thanks for this, ShenStone. I was on Lupron+bicalutamide for 12 months before becoming castration-resistant. Now, because of "protocols" with other treatments, I have remained on Lupron consecutively for 10 years. PSA did return to <0.01 for a year+ during an Enz+ProstVac Tricom trial @ the NIH (5+ years!), but that is over now and PSA was last @ 54 on Abiraterone with one small scan progression. lt's a little frustrating to have Lupron be a life sentence ... but if it actually does help to preserve life, then it's certainly been worth it.
20 years is amazing. Besides the sexual ramifications, I'm wondering how you are doing metabolically? Have you found exercise to negate the weight gain? The constant loss of muscle to fat? What of cardiovascular issues?
I'm hoping your answers continue to give the HOPE that your post above certainly has given!
