Phellinus Linteus

[Camembert]

Wondered if anyone out there has used medicinal mushrooms such as Phellinus Linteus (or Meshimakobu) extract. It seems to be used in Japan, China and Korea and have seen some recent articles on the web such as this one below. Any thoughts? It’s also on the Memorial Sloane Kettering website as a herb though of course not proven to help with PCa

I have heard of AHCC - I believe it’s a combination of several different ingredients.

Phellinus Linteus? Wasn't he the Roman emperor that ate poisoned mushrooms and died? I guess he should of smoked them instead.

Turkey tail mushrooms have been systematically studied. They are known as Coriolus versicolor. PSP is extracted from the mushroom and tested in a clinical setting. I have been taking the extract. Here is a link to an article from a Hong Kong University team of researchers : "Chemopreventive effect of PSP through targeting of prostate cancer stem cell-like population."

Well I actually live in Queens

Queens county =Queens.... One of the 5 boroughs that make up NYC.

Bronx county = Bronx (where i was born and raised, south bronx, bad hood).

NY county = Manhattan (broadway, wall street, central park, tall buildings etc)

Kings county = Brooklyn (where the dodgers still play LOL)

Richmond county = Staten Island.

Only borough that is part of the U S is the Bronx (all others are islands)

Couldn't live there. Can't swim that well. I thought only Staten Island was an island. And if a County is a borough, and a borough is a County....wtf. Born and raised in the Bronx and living in Queens. Moving on up.
