Sharing second line therapies

It would be highly useful if our experienced friends may share their choice of second line therapies.

Sure we have fast cell killing therapy and all the clinical studies which take years and based simply on blind statistics. Real science and knowledge does not need clinical studies. I feel medical treatment are in stone age since it is based on trials.

I am a scientist and believe in fast facts and no trial and error. Not possible that it does not apply to medicine. They are trapped in wrong approach and doctors have connected objects with not curiosity.

I hope we employ our knowledge of cancel cell workings and develop reliable therapies adapted to each individual. Let us get rid of clinical trials and take the concrete knowledge based individual therapies.

I do not want to be victime of medical protocols which say I have may be 5 years or more or less....depending if my god blesses me.....

I go to doctor to cure me of cancer and not to tell me the bull shit of 5 years or 10 years.... Recently I saw prostate cancer doctor in Paris.... who says we are here to cure you....that is all..... a rare vision

Not like my URO who took 2 minutes to say my friend you may have 5 years...

I wonder how he may call himself a doctor.......and his protocol I get easily thru Internet....What is his role ???

I would like our friends in this Forum to clearly mention if possible what second line protocols they are following to include Off label drugs, Diet, mental attitude and sports. We are pretty educated, knowledgable and do not have smell of money. I am not talking of wishful protocol but on experienced empirical protocols, far superior to clinical mess drowned in numbers and placebos and telling me I may get 3 months more.....ENOUGH OF THIS SADISTIC MEDICINE

It is time that Patient becomes the actor and central person for any treatment. We can access all new knowledge better than practicing doctors who are drowned with 15 minute/ client before their screen without looking at the patient and they have no time to follow and understand new treatments. They did medicine 20 or 40 years ago and never had time to dig into present day ever changing research advancements. But we have all the time and interest and capacities to be lead actors.....

So let us all be upbeat and be trapped by money laundering medical structure. It has to change.....

We shall be going to Robot Doctors where all new knowledge can be fed in 5 minutes in real time. And he /she has no frontiers.....

I never saw a doctor before and I am shear shock to experience a rotten mind set of doctors. The doctor has just 15 minutes and that too before the screen....But for me It is my life and quality of life....And I am the guy who pays him/her. So why I am forced to wait and wait and then shoved off if I ask questions and challenge the protocol.

I wont change these doctors but as AI geek I will create Robot Docs always up to date .... present day doctors will disappear for ever....

Karmaji…...No...you don't pay your doctors...your managed care company does. They make the codes of 15 minute follow up and if your doctor spends 60 minutes with you, the poor guy is still paid only for 15 minutes.

As for your imaginary robot doctors, it will take 75 to 100 years for them to start their medical practices and by that time, both you and me will be gone.

Doctors are blamed and criticized because they are in front of you …...you can not reach managed care big bosses who sit in high rise glass buildings where you can not even get in and see their faces. The masters of Universe who make all the rules and control everything.

These robot doctors are not imaginary.....very soon

You have already online doctors....

have Robot guided surgeries

All Scans etc are robot guided... very little need for humans...

When they are there they are not well formed in utilisation of comlexe technology........

A doctor has no idea how these technology tools work and he is just a connected object.....the complexities of all medical tools is enermous and it is all based on technology hard and software.....

In treatment, he has to follow blindly the protocols......

The technology is going very fast and we who are in AI cant even predict the speed....

As knowledge creates knowledge thru machine.....

So friends get ready for consulting thru machine intelligence.....

I do not the US medical system...

But in European system doctors are not controlled by private insurance...

They can work on their rythme and there are no illicit court cases.....

I go to GP and he looks at screen and never on me..... Then I can look at same screen myself and print out prescriptions which are already programmed....

A fast changing world.... friends.......

We'll just have to wait and see, won't we ?? :-)

I am ready to bet that robots will not altogether replace human doctors

any time soon.

Bonjour

We are near Cannes in France and had the same bad experience with doctors. My husband is Gleason 9, detected last October, and had a prostatectomy in Nice in November 30th 2018. Then his PSA was again rising fast but he decided to refuse any ADT and we went to Austria to see Prof. Sharok Shariat. A Ga68-PSMA petscan in January 2019 in Vienna/Austria, detected a small amount of cancerous lymphnods. So we decided to make the Lu177 -PSMA treatment in Vienna. It was very expensive because the health insurances don't refund anything. After three injections, his PSA is now only 0.67 ng/ml and is still dropping. The third injection was in August the first. My husband is now in a very good condition and had no side effects at all (just one night of little nausea after each injection). He takes no meds at all and we have no oncologist in France because they don't agree with us...
