The usual SOC is to have the mpMRI for the confirmatory biopsy - you had it sooner. Unlikely to have major changes in just a year. I'm sure he will take random cores too.
There really are no SOCs about this - it's up to individual institution protocols and judgment. As I said, many institutions use an mpMRI before the confirmatory biopsy. A saturation biopsy is an alternative.
Didn't think a saturation biopsy sounded good. Googled it, and I was right. They blast you 20 times instead of the usual 12, my 14 times. May God have mercy on your soul.
