I heard good things about him at a PCF conference from a doctor that was seeing him. We had lunch together and a doctor normally knows who is a good doctor or can at least find out. Personallu, I'd like to see him myself, but just always seem too busy.

Thank you for your input!

Hello,

I am not a patient of Dr. Drake’s but I did hear him speak on several occasions at the PCRI Conference in Los Angeles. Very knowledgeable doctor particularly in the field of immunotherapy. I think you would be in good hands. Good luck!

Thank you so much!

I have been seeing dr Drake for almost 2 years, referred to him by dr Myers. Dr Drake is an outstanding physician. Well educated. Obtained his PhD in immunology before he attended med school. Was on the staff at Hopkins before he took the chair at Columbia. He has a great supporting staff of fellows and nurse practitioners. They have a pregame meeting every Monday to discuss each patient that they will see on Tuesday. They are always thinking three steps ahead in regards to your treatment. They are starting several clinical trials this fall with immunotherapeutic agents. His bedside manner is impeccable. He has a great sense of humor. He treats me like a brother, really.

Thank you. That is good news! They are squeezing us in for next Tuesday

My dad just started seeing Dr. Drake early this year, on the recommendation of his previous doctor. First two meetings have been incredible, very supportive, kind, answered all of our questions, sense of humor, and there was a certain calmness about his manner that made my dad feel really comfortable. His staff was also very solid. Highly recommended.

I also was referred to Dr Drake by Dr Myers upon his retirement. I echo what Rexwaterbury posted. Dr Drake is wonderful, brilliant and has a kind demeanor. He is open to questions and ideas presented. I highly recommend him.
