Again while composing an answer to a query, spending some 15 minutes,,,this website purged all data that I had inputed.

Why does this happen. I am using iOS on an iPad Pro.

I have no desire to start over,,,so I just write it off

Yes I have at times used the select all and copy option.

Must I use WORD to compose, and then paste into my post. WORD of course keeps a running backup of all imputed data.

Any other ideas?..

Happened to me yesterday. The WORD solution is cumbersome, but I have resorted to it when reaching the point where the effort required to recreate what I have written has reached a certain level.

For long posts or responses, yes the clipboard method is the best option.

I use my Galaxy phone for a lot of my responses. The auto suggestions works well.

Use the Notes app that comes with iOS. Edie then simply copy and paste.
