Thanks for losing hair input

To all that responded to me about concerns that my husband is loosing his hair, you are all right. I was worried about something so trivial compared to his staying alive. It was very petty of me to even mention it.

Thanks for being there for me.

Please don't beat yourself up Elaine. We all go off on tangents. Sometimes when I'm confronted with something terrible my mind recoils from it and I worry about something else. It's part of our human nature.

I hope I didn't come across as belittling you. Your concerns were valid. I spent decades in denial when I began losing my hair naturally. But I lost all sense of ego when I went on the Chemo Hair Loss program though, for sure. I wish you both the best!

All of you helped me put hair loss in the proper perspective and I really appreciate it.

Elaine,

I am a male of 63 years and before chemo I had 100% of my hair and 80% of it was black.

Imagine my consternation when after this chemo crap, I lost 80% of my hair !!! Luckily, after I stopped the chemo, my hair grew back in black :-) No kidding. It was a huge relief to me. The bloody chemo didn't work unfortunately and I lost time, money and it probably screwed up my immune system as well. Fortunately, at least I have my hair :-)

Cheers, Elaine. Chin up !!!

It wasn’t the hair you just want him not to suffer and this crap not take anymore from him❤️

It is petty but it’s the way we feel and live I wouldn’t feel bad it’s who he is and loosing it doesn’t make u feel better. My dads fear is that too and he is not sure he wants to proceed with the chemo it’s the last option he’s 81 and he’s not sure if he wants to go through all that for no one can really say how long.

So don’t feel bad I know it’s a vanity thing versus life and of course get healed hair grows back
