Try zitiga again

Has anyone tried zitiga after the first one lasted 15 months,I have been off for over a year

Was Zytiga still working when you went off it a year ago? If your PSA was increasing it could mean you have already gotten all you can out of the drug. If that is the case you should move onto something else like casodex or Xtandi.

Some people retry it with dexamethasone instead of prednisone.

I stopped all treatments Zitiga, prednisone and Lupon. My cancer made a reoccurrence in July and is now in my Lymp nodes. After trying all these meds I decided to stop everything cold Turkey...it was my decision however now my blood count has shown I have a High Platelet count and very low absolute lymphocytes. Not sure what that means but after having prostrate removed 4 years ago, 82 radiation treatments and lupon shots I decided at 63 I can't do this the rest of my life. The side effects as we know are horrible. The lower back pain and chest pain are 24/7 and I feel like a criminal asking for pain medication. I really didn't like zitiga nor did my body, side effects were horrible. Good luck
