Noted a study at USC School of Pharmacy ( reported in Malecare) that posited ( with good preliminary results) that inhibition of the MAO-A pathway could be ( potentially) used to slow the progression of Pca. I took particular note because I have been on MAO inhibitors for 3 decades for depression and, of course, wonder if they have assisted me at any time in my trip through Pca development, TX and recurrence... One possibility is that they have assisted in keeping my Pca less aggressive and my recurrence slow to progress ( I have yet to be treated for my recurrence....still mulling over the what and when)... On the other hand... they might well have had no NO hand in keeping this disease at bay and it has developed and progressed in the presence of MAO inhibition as it might have under any circumstances..... Of COURSE I would like to believe that there has been some potentially positive effect that I might capitalize on in the future.... Anyone come across this connection in their intellectual travels???

Thanks for responding.... I don't expect much in the way of positive responses as I've never seen anything mentioned about this at any time in my explorations beyond that which I just mentioned.... still...thought that I would put it out there.
The studies done by Gross M et al (referenced in Malecare), were done in a mouse model and in human prostate cancer cells.
I don't know about the MAOIs but the aspirin and the metformin look very promising. I take the metformin 850 mg 3 times a day.
