I have seen that report as well as a couple other recent PARP inhibitor clinical trial updates. Bummer dude! I have the ATM mutation. I was hoping that Olaparib or Rucaparib might be a new weapon for me, but it doesn’t look that way.

Like several other similar studies, some non-BRCA patients DID have a positive response. Glass is half full!

Good point! Thanks!! I like your positive attitude, and appreciate your positivity. And, I did read another article that basically said that it wasn’t that Olaparib and Rucaparib did not work at all for ATM mutations as for BRAC1/2 mutations, just that preliminary results show that it doesn’t work as well.

I think it was George Carlin that said, “it’s not about whether the glass is half full...it’s just that you have the wrong size glass.” 😎
