Trained dogs to diagnose prostate cancer

This article states the trained dogs will smell your crotches and will bark , if you got prostate cancer- Smell the urine . Dogs may continue barking, if you have advance PC ??? This is for real and I am posting it for fun.

Interestingly enough, our Aussie mix would not leave my husband alone before his diagnosis. She would paw at him, whimper, cry as he sit in his chair at night. This went on for months. After DX and as the cancer calmed down/dormant she stopped this behavior. She knew he was sick and was alerting us as best she knew how. Smart dog, extra sensitive to know this was going on. She knew before his urologist did.

I don't think I'd enjoy life without at least one dog in my life. We just added a puppy mini aussie to the pack. I hope to train her as a therapy dog. Animals in our lives is a common grace and blessing from God.

Two weeks ago I showed my Wife how my shepherd/beagle announces my current PSA status by smelling my nose (holding my breath). If PSA is going up, the dog snorts. It's real. Madcap, but real.

My "Big Boy", Ted didnt react to my cancer but in the morning when we go pee he waits for me then go on top of mine. Gross i guess but thats what he dose. After a couple days of taking xtandi, he'd start toward it but when he got close he would veer away from it. He always stays away now. Im guessing he can smell the toxicity in it.
