I'm so upset, cannot request a visit, the phone system kills my request!
Dana Farber is subsidized from grants, they get billions from all over, but they cannot answer my call, a patient with PCa, this is beyond belief. I will expose them, they are not on our side.
I'm so commited to make account for real cancer patients in need, any subsidized cancer organization should have a way in, Dana Farber is typical of business only way. time for us patients to demand more!
I ask my doctors for their emails. Some will, some won't. I find they are more likely to respond to that than a phone call. I keep emails very brief (just the facts) and don't send them if an office visit is more appropriate. It's much less frustrating than playing phone tag.
I had no problem getting through...the woman was real friendly... then she asked who referred me and I said Dr. Nalakrats at which point she threatened to kill me and even went so far as saying I was now on their hit list, so I went out and bought the biggest Gator I could find and just left them a message....come and get me MF's.
No worries, the Gator will retreat when served with fresh bagels, you are welcomed...
Yeah, I'm a tough guy, but I'm lost at the moment , looking for some help from my family here, can anyone give me a working number to Dana Farber?
Nala, I expected more from you, don't play with me, we are all brothers in arms, please help me contact Dana Farber, this is what I'm asking help, you know I love you guys...
Try 617-582-9725 fro DFCI scheduling in genitourinary oncology. At least that's what I have in my phone. I am out of the country or would call to confirm that's the correct number.
By the way, my first team is Lahey Health Systems, simply because PCa treatments are based on standard protocols. And I can talk to my team nurse anytime and have MyChart access, an Web health personal record portal. All test results and images are available, the all mighty Dana-Farber does not offer this service..
Sorry you are having a hard time. The sometimes helpless feelings of having this disease can bring on frustration and panic that is hard to control. What has helped me the most dealing with PCa is gathering knowledge and understanding of treatments and of course time with the beast. I wish you peace and more importantly progress in finding what you seek.
It's that NY blood.... we are patients with no patience.... you know what they call a split second in NYC? It's the length of time between the traffic light turning green and the time the dickhead behind you beeps his horn.
Wow you hit the jackpot... driving in Boston?.... it's like playing Russian roulette with a loaded gun. The cars they sell in New England are not equipped with directional signals. And the streets in Boston are just wide enough for Paul Revere's horse. Better you than me.
