I think it ended in impasse on the question of what alternatives there are to Clogyline (the antidepressant monoamine oxidase A inhibitor). On the basis of similar modes of action, they seem to be deprenyl, pargyline and J-508.

I can find no human trials. OK its an old and cheap drug, we know the story. But I would be interested to know if there is any new info that it might be a bad idea and a deal breaker to what looks on the surface like a no-brainer for human trial. After all, most APCa patients are depressed, some are being treated for it.
I may have posted this before, but will post again. There are a lot of foods and natural supplements that are MAO-A and MAO-B inhibitors (according to the article we should be looking at the MOA-A inhibitors). Some of the foods are things we eat and supplements are things many of us take. For example: Coffee, Carrot, Quercetin, Fennel, Ginger, Berberine, Parsley, Red Grapes, Curcumin
