I had an MRI and a 18F- PSMA- PET scan done in Finland recently.
I have the discs in my possession. The discs have the accompanying reports as one of the files on the CD. The reports are written in soumen kieli (Finnish).
I have an upcoming doctor appointment and I will be taking the discs for review. I would like to have the reports translated before the appointment. Does anyone know where I might get a translation? I did google translate and it is helpful but I think it could be better.
Thanks,
Jeff

That's a hard one because, even if you could find a Finnish speaker here, the chance of his understanding medical techno-speak is pretty low.
Maybe you could email the Finns who did the scans and ask if they can do an English language version for you. My impression of the Scandinavian countries is that almost all of the educated people speak pretty good English.
Plus, Finland has three official languages, I read somewhere: Finnish, Swedish and English. They should be able easily to come up with an English version.
Jeffreyo, below is a English-Finnish translation provided by Google. You can attempt a translation of key information through this online approach. Tedious I admit and imperfect process. But you can get started until you find a Finn.
Minulla oli viime aikoina Suomessa tehty MRI ja 18F-PSMA-PET-skannaus.
Minulla on levyjä. Levyillä on mukana seuraavat raportit yhdeksi CD: n tiedostomuodoista. Raportit on kirjoitettu soumen kielellä.
Minulla on tuleva lääkäri nimittäminen ja otan levyt tarkasteltavaksi. Haluaisin, että raportit on käännetty ennen nimittämistä. Tietääkö kukaan missä voisin saada käännös? Tein google kääntää ja se on hyödyllistä, mutta mielestäni se voisi olla parempi.
