After stopping treatment in July

Just guessing. If he does not resume "treatment", he will probably get a lot of pain. If he continues to avoid treatment, he will probably die.
Of course, like some others on this board, if he has a hot line to the guy above, he might just live happily w/o much pain or worries.
Lets hope he has a direct hotline to the guy above
Thanks. He stopped treatment as no quality of life but he is doing so well now. He knows at some point things will get harder but doing well at the mo
I understand his thinking..I had symptoms for years and didn’t see a dr until
It was almost too late with APC causing kidney failure.. So , I would not recommend to anyone not treat APC unless they have some inner peace and believe that outweighs an imminent painful death. I’m not trying to scare him or you .But as a man that has seen the cruel side of pc, I would beg of others to seek treatment ..Each to their own ..Peace to Papa . ✌️
Xtandi made an invalid of me at the 160 mg dosage Dr's started me on. Cut to 120 mg, was better. Cut to 100 mg, better yet. 90 mg started to be almost normal. went back to 100 mg and went back to staggering and falling multiple times a day. Back to 90 mg and balance came back. Met with onc yesterday and he agreed 90 mg must be the most my body can handle. PSA holding low. Many heve to cut to 80 mg before they can have a QOL that is really living. 90 mg= 2 pills for 3 days and 3 pills for 1 day. Takes 28 days to level out Don't be afraid to over ride what Drs say. AS ALL OF US ARE DIFFERENT..
Amen!
I respect that he chooses not to be treated. “ No” pain is wonderful for now.. I’m sorry that your father has pc.. Spend quality time with him ..Pc can become visious left untreated. Most likely he will
Suffer sooner or later.. God Bless Him.,
A member of this forum recommended the book " Radical Remission" by Kelly A. Turner . I am reading now and it is a great book. It could possibly help. Best to you and your dad.

The exact details of what will happen may not be knowable right now. That makes it even more important to live well in the present moment, while also expanding the support team and support services sooner, rather than later.
Just some thoughts...
