Some hope for small cell/neuroendocrine PCa patients.

For those of us unlucky enough to be dealing with prostate cancer which can be described as 'small cell' or 'neuroendocrine' prostate cancer, the following article is worth a read.

It describes how the researchers are figuring out how similar small cell cancer of all types are and it further describes how they are trying to work out the mechanisms that lead to treatment resistant PCa cells changing into small cell tumors, which may lead to drugs to help prevent this from happening and hopefully, provide some treatment options for those of us already dealing with small cell cancer.
