why can't I find any info on mets to lungs from Prostate cancer
Here is a search list of several articles that touch on different aspects of lung metastasis malecare.org/?s=Lung
I had mets to the lungs. My research doctor put me on Provenge. Worked quite well, all nodules shrank and have been stable for 3 years.
I have just read your post and you don't know how much it has cheered me. It will certainly be music to the ears of my husband when I tell him when he wakes in the morning, too. He has just recently been told that his latest bone scan has shown spots on his lungs. We've been fearful of exactly what that means but now your good news has offered a glimmer of hope. Long may you continue to remain stable.
I hope Provenge works for him. All my prayers
There are lots of men on here with Mets to lungs. My opinion is that many men have them but they don’t show up on typical scans. My hubby’s lung Mets were confirmed the hard way with a lobe wedge resection after a choline PET/CT.
Until he has another scan my husband only shows lung Mets but also now Mets in esophagus.
He had Provenge a year ago but no mets disappeared for him and the esophagus ones showed up in Jan, 2018 scan well after Provenge.
If you are looking for hope, know that lutetium works on soft tissue Mets and is being trialed in the US.
If you search “lung” on here you will find compadres as I have.
