I am interested in this as well and have posted for recommendation. If you do a search there are a few other folks who have asked as well. Most suggestions are for non specialist MO unless one is willing to drive a few hours to Charlotte or New Orleans.

We moved to the area last fall and always assumed Emory would be the place to go since they were involved in the Axumin scans and other research.

Thanks, I have not had the best of luck with Emory so far, went to see what trails they had and what I would qualify for two weeks ago and seemed to go ok. Dr. wanted me to start one soon, but no communication from them since then. I emailed them back and called just nothing .

I researched this site and got the following name for you (recommended by two members on the same day, 4 months ago). Here it is:

DR. OMER KUCUK, without a doubt! At Emory's Winship Cancer Institute in Atlanta

Good Luck and Good Health.

I have been treated by Dr. Vasily Assikis of the Piedmont Cancer Institute for the past 5 1/2 years, in combo with Dr. Snuffy Myers. Highly recommend.

Best wishes. Never Give In.

Thanks for all the responses.

I'm in Bartow County, my urologist is Dr Proctor in cartersville, outstanding guy.

The robot surgery guy is Dr Rosenfeld which people come from around the country to see.

I'm not up to date on all the terms, what's an MO?

Thank you. I'm dealing with the urologist to cut mine out. I'm hoping I won't have an MO.

IM me and I'll give you my number if you want to talk.
