This month I celebrate 15 years alive after diagnosis. It’s been a tough, painful and, sometimes, downright Fricking awful journey. But I’m still here and enjoying life as much as possible these days. Right now I’m just finishing coffee and breakfast and then me and the boys (Gabe and Finn) are off to the river for our daily walk. Gabe on the left.... hills in the background is my view from house and River.
Now, when are we having that beer everyone keeps talking about? I live outside of Santa Fe, NM. Any of you get into town, send me a message and I’ll meet you.

Brian, love Santa Fe in Summer time but brrr., must be chilly at this time no? Congrats on 15 years and, yes coffee and beer, 2 of the pleasures in life that make our efforts to stay around worth it.
Yepper! Chilly is right. In the teens earlier this am! Gets the blood running tho!

No need to scale, there’s a path up there. Matter of fact, beers have been drunk up there several times! Maybe I’ll do that this weekend and have a nice photo-op! Thank!
Congrats on the news. I am about an hour south of you in the lovely East Mountains! Some of my(maybe my husband's too) spa's are up there. I love the Light Vessel Spa. I can get a yummy dinner while he gets a treatment.
I hope Santa Fe is getting more precipitation this winter than we are.. no snow
I see so many newly diagnosed people posting. They’re scared, confused and thinking WTF? I was 44 when diagnosed and remember the “doe in the headlight” feelings I had. The fear, the questions, the awful “WOW, what Mule just kicked me in the gut” feeling. Hopefully, the post will help those (and maybe even some of you) realize it ain’t over till the fat lady sings! And, until then, we’ve a Life to live and not to waste.
In addition to the "Congratulations and Jubilation" may be, after enjoying the Christmas, please take time to give us the pathological factors of your PCa such as Gleason Score, Cancer Staging, PSA before treatment, PSA now and briefly the treatment received during the !5 year period. Thanks.
Don't trouble too much about details. A brief account with the salient points would do. We go through many such cases. But each case stands on its own.
