cost of xtandi with medicare

received xtandi as I was being discharged from my second ca surgery..there is a refill sticker on bottle for two more..I have aarp united healthcare insurance.does anyone know of the cost of this medicine as will require a refill soon

I took Xtandi for about 1 year with Medicare Humana Rx plan and paid 5% of retail of about $10,000/month once I reached their catastrophic level (which happened by mid-February when taking many drugs)!

Since this drug will be managed by your appropriate Speciality Pharmacy, you may have to make some phone calls to get it set up with a prior authorization.

I just got a call from Wallgreens Specialty Pharmacy. They told me there is no help with the cost right now. The price is about $2550 through my Medicare Advantage from Florida Blue (BC/BS). Ugh.
