Gus,
Actually, I can't tell you how many men have said they feel much smarter on ADT.
Seriously, I read the full text of the study [1] & note that ADT:
"has been associated with several adverse events, including fractures, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, acute kidney injury, and possibly cognitive impairment. Indeed, the latter is based on the known association between age-related decline in testosterone levels and cognitive decline."
So a decline in T = cognitive decline, but the almost total elimination of T somehow has no effect at all. Comforting to know.

Hi Patrick,
Sorry, but I don't find it comforting at all. I'm on ADT seven years now, I'm 57. My T is 0, and I don't find any comfort in the loss of my cognition, and everything else that made me a man. I realize I'm just one guy, but I'm sure there's one more out there. One thing I can say is this, sometimes I recall some of the stupidest stuff in my life, for no reason at all, just poof, it's there.
Joe
Im one more out there like you, also 57 =Psa.04 with cognitive issues due to Adt, RT,and 0 testosterone.. Good luck..
55 days? That's not a trip, that's an adventure! And to fish, that's heaven.
Joe
