Anyone have an oncologist they like on the west coast? I am going to be seeing my radiologist/oncologist in 10 days. ADT is coming. My idea is ADT3, intermittent. Not sure my present Dr. will go along with this. I am working on seeing a second oncologist but may still be looking after both visits.

Dr Shiffman at Pacific Cancer Care in Monterey. 831-375-4105.
Prostate Oncology Specialists in Marina del Rey, CA. Any of the three - Dr. Scholtz, Dr. Lam or Dr. Turner are all top notch in the field and PCa is all they do. I have used Dr.; Turner for three years now. They all work together and don't just share office space.

Dr. Evan Yu at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance is great to work with. Not sure where you are on the West Coast, but if near Seattle the group at SCCA is excellent.
Both Dr. Eric Small and Dr. Rahul Aggarwal at UCSF are very good. UCSF is a Center of Excellence for PCa. Too bad San Francisco is so expensive to stay in and difficult to drive in.
I've had good experience with Prostate Oncology Specialists in Marina Del Rey, CA. I've mostly seen Dr. Lam, but folks from my support group speak highly of Dr. Scholz and Turner as well. As you gather from the practice title, PCa is all these folks do.
I see Celestia Higano MD at the Seattle Cancer alliance. she is incredible
