In most areas few good doctors accept Medicaid due to lie reimbursement fees. Look for a Federally Qualified Health Center in your area. Also public teaching hospitals have clinics. Both accept Medicaid.

Dr Robert Freeman is a PsyD who takes Medicaid. He is not an ADHD specialist himself, but could refer you. Lindsay Miarmi is an ADHD specialist w/n the same organization (Lifestance) but in my case, Medicaid wouldn’t pay for testing. However, she confirmed (my self) dx of ADHD just in our conversations. Your best bet is to search via your particular insurance and then do your follow up research; often the info on the insurance company’s page is not accurate/up to date. Best to check w/the practitioner. It will be a slog and time consuming. I’m afraid that’s the reality of a Capitalist Health-we-don’t-care-system.

Good Luck.

PS: just ask all your Drs if they can recommend someone and then check out whether they participate or not. And to the extent that you are comfortable, just ask any/everyone for reco.s and then do the legwork.
