Recently, I initiated a daily experiment inspired by a recommendation to listen to music twice a day for five minutes each session, specifically before leaving for work and just before bedtime.
On Day 1, I noticed a rapid relaxation of my mind as I focused on the music, allowing it to guide my thoughts. Now, on Day 21,I continue to engage in this practice and find it consistently beneficial. Additionally, I have discovered that listening to choral music, also while using headphones, elicits a similar positive response.
I am curious to know if others have had similar experiences with this method.

I love all types of music and they all have different effects on me depending on what I listen to. So some music that people would think is absolutely horrible angry music actually puts me in a super happy mood. Hypes me up, gets my endorphins going.... makes me believe I can face the day and get through anything. Some music makes me cry depending on the situation around me. Some are nostalgic .
Music is a life force for me. Classical is my favorite as it calms my mind enough to hyperfocus either on the music itself or on something I'm working on, like driving. I listen to pop, jazz, folk, choral, instrumental, even some rap. The music can give me a mood I'm looking for depending on the style. I also like to dance, although I'm disabled and can't do much anymore. I think if music didn't exist, I'd invent it. 🎶💙
