autism and adhd dual diagnoses

Has anyone here had the diagnoses of autism and adhd? Not all my symptoms add up to being only adhd. I have a great memory for birthdays in my immediate and extended family. I love patterns. I haveave several ongoing interests.

I ask my GP to send me for a diagnoses for adhd through right of choose. I used physcharist UK.

How did you convince your GP to send you for a diagnoses.

my gp did a self test with him that showed autism traits and then got the referral . Psychiatry Uk did the adhd diagnosis , but did bugger all else for me !

I've been diagnosed with both. My psychiatrist referred me to a psychologist who did the testing. I've had to educate myself, and still not sure which symptom belongs to which diagnosis!
