My meds aren't enough

I switched meds during the shortage. I'm on something that works. It's extended 15 mg capsules. I take it twice a day. I am wondering if its normal to also get prescribed some instant adderalls too. My friend has adderall xr like me but then ALSO some "boosters" ... an ir for as needed. A separate script. I kind of want that too and think I legit need it but I hate talking to my psychiatrist about the adhd meds. I'm also down for some natural tips. I just can't keep up with life. I'm single and live alone in apartment so I do everything completely on my own. I was laid off recently so all there is time for is job searching and feeding myself and cleaning and trying to not miss payments and due dates.. I'm tired help.

I have heard from 2 doctors that I can get both if I need it. one doctor says they usually pick one or the other.

To my understanding, it is not uncommon for people to take an XR and a booster so definitely worth checking with your doctor about it!

I am also taking Extended Release in the Morning and up to 3 boosters the last one not later than 5 PM. Makes such a difference
