I’ve been interested in trying it, but I don’t think it’s covered by insurance.

don't you afraid ? If it is not recommended by NHS how can be sure that it is safe?

I’m willing to be a Guinea pig if it is far enough through experimentation and they are willing to communicate it.

I would do neurofeedback for sure. Actually my previous therapist had a speciality in neurofeedback and biofeedback (and treatment of ADHD) right up to the moment I became a patient of his.

Like a week earlier, he ditched his ADHD focus. He concluded that people with ADHD didn't fit as narrow a category as he had assumed. He was still big on meditation and mind training for sure.

But yes, I would do neurofeedback.

don't you afraid ? Neurofeedback is not recommended by NHS . How can be sure that your symptoms won't be worse afterwards?

Symptoms get worse. No, I have absolutely no worry about that. Neurofeedback or meds or exercise or therapy or coaching or going outside into nature or eating a healthy diet that doesn't overdose on carbs--all these things might not help someone, but make things worse. I can't imagine!

Neurofeedback is a form of brain monitoring with electrodes ... When your brain gets to a nice focused state, the machine gives you some happy/positive feedback, like a music sound or a color on a screen. The goal is to train the brain to get to a better focused state more often and longer. The closest cousin would be meditation. I don't see how anyone could be hurt by meditation ... or neurofeedback ... Again, my night help some folks.

It's definitely a cutting-edge treatment ... and in the US insurance doesn't always cover it.
