Hi all, so grateful for this community... I've read several posts recently having to do with late life diagnosis or dealing with regrets and grief over a diagnosis of ADHD, that I really want to share a video I just watched on YouTube from ADDItude Magazine (they have experts giving presentations all the time - so very worthwhile)... This one was titled "How Women with ADHD can Transform the Challenges of a Late Diagnosis"..... I'd also like to suggest that men can profit from watching this as well, especially if they have women in their lives. Which we all do, right? This presentation was by Dr. Nadeau who has written many books about ADHD, and I really love her most recent book, "Still Distracted After All These Years"..... Hope this helps someone out there - grief over a very late life diagnosis is an issue I'm dealing with myself, the feeling of "what if?" and "I could've been a contender".... this YouTube video was really impactful for me, and will be a part of my healing.

Hi OldIndigoBlue
There are a wealth of great webinars in the archives of Additude Magazine, including this one. I too found it helpful in processing those feelings of regret and grief. Very relevant for a male like me as well as women.
I understand. Be careful as the ‘Why’s’ and ‘What if(s)?’ can eat you alive.
Thanks for posting I will definitely look it up because that's what I'm facing myself being diagnosed 6 months ago at age 52 and feeling like I'm mourning decades of my life that I can't do anything about changing and I'm trying to focus on what's to come but the grief is overwhelming at this present moment. Thanks a million!!!!!
