Know of any reliable/trusted site to find psychiatrists near me?

So im kind of new here and I really really need your help...

I've been battling for a year and half now to find a place test if I have ADHD and if so provide me treatment.

My parents helped me by contacting the insurance, they directed us to 2 places that wanted 2-3000 dollars for a basic analysis (and a one year waitlist). We obviously didnt do that we cant afford it; the waitlist was so long because this was the beginning of 2021.

I found out my University has a department that does ADHD assessments. I gave them a call and was put on a waitlist; they said it would be 2-3 months. It's been 6 months and they've gone cold; no answer after multiple calls there...

Im running out of options and im panicking. It just seems so difficult finding a psychiatrists that is affordable and can help me. Do any of you know of any resource that is legit and shows psychiatristsnear you that can help with ADHD? Thank you in advance to those of you who help, it's just so depressing and sad to me how difficult it has been in this journey.

I've questioned it for half my life, and only the last 3 years have I really started to wonder if I do suffer from ADHD and everyone I've talked to and everything ive read points to all the issues ive had my whole life. I just want help, and it seems so hard to get it.

If this helps anyone who tries to answer this,I just need help getting started in the journey of diagnosis because I even know where to begin.

I've seen placed where people say they paid 100 a session and places where people paid a few thousand. Where should I go to see if I have ADHD and get treatment for it? I'm only 21 so I dont know much about this. Sorry if this was un-helpful im just so depressed over this all

I'm also looking for someone to assess/diagnose me, and I want to use a provider in my insurance network. There are TONS listed, but the insurance companies never accurately describe whether they actually perform ADHD assessments, or if they're just pediatric, or if they're even still located where the insurance company thinks they are!

My likely-ADHD has had me RESEARCHING providers for days on end - today, I hope to actually make a phone call or two. But I have heard that it's either hard to get in for an assessment or that some of the bigger "chain" providers are just horrible to work with.
