The infamous drawing

Here is a Pic of the before-progressing. I filtered it heavily to make it visible.

All artists participating in the contest are professionals, while I've never studied art, not much even as a self-learner, so my skills are quite embarrassing compared to the others (that, along with the fear of not being able to put on the paper what's in my head and ruin everything, probably blocks me). But anyone can participate, and f*** comparisons, right?

This is a neat treat to awake and find.😯 Whatever vision’s alive inside your mind will be given life by your hand onto paper. The unknown world that only you can share is already beginning to develop, like a picture in a darkroom, slowly showing itself to the light.

In fact you’ve already completed so much I’d like to share my impressions while they’re still freshly able to be thought out: First, I was drawn to two friendly friends. Their natural instinctive nature of caution is replaced by curiosity rather than fear. By the look of their stretched-out necks, long curling tails, and thin raised ears. My eyes become guided by their signals, and I want to see what they're focused on. AH, now I see, someone's very far away. The two fantastic beings sitting on heightened elevation must have wonderful eyesight to see so far away. Now, I’m as curious feeling as they are and want to learn more about who’s standing upon a hilltop, far away, as far as our eyes can see.

My view’s then pulled to cabins made of stone and tree. Many details catch my attention. Lumbar with whittled down pointed tips, an aged barrel whose wood is still held in place by two rusty metal rings. Age begins to standout . Moss hanging on the edge of a rooftop amplifies how gravity and time have pulled these buildings down. Those who once lived here are long gone. They've either moved someplace else or passed through a veil that’s not meant for the living of this realm. Maybe it’s my imagination, but a specter appears to be leaning out a window with broken shutters and tattered blinds. It’s pointing to the same figure in the distance which the pair of friends are watching.

A ray of light shines upon objects left behind the rock which the two companions are sitting on. Someone hid them well inside the cubby of surrounding stones. Shade from a tall fruit bearing tree adds depth and dimension to the terrain. If I could explore this world I’d want a friend with me, I’m not sure if I could enter the structures alone. However, I couldn’t resist following the trail into the horizon, there’s bound to be something breathtaking waiting for my imagination to inhale.

I believe in you,

Awwwwww! Thanks! That's fantastic! I didn't know it could communicate so much! All my works start to seem banal and empty to me. Although they always have a meaning. Maybe, when it's more done, you'll start to get it. But the best thing is actually fueling imagination.

Big hugs 🤗 and thanks for the time you took to answer
