When you’re about to get to that boiling point. Get up stretch. Take a long ten second breathing without think about anything. Pull on your ear lopes. Self care !

Take a second to breath
Hi JW
Wow wouldn’t that be wonderful if My anger slowly got to the boiling,I would be lucky to catch it.unfortunataly I don’t seem to have such luck as my anger or boiling point hey hits so fast it’s almost impossible not to react.
You know I’ve gotten rid of most of the boys I don’t like that belong to adhd.
It’s just the way the anger comes out so fast there isn’t a build up
Cheers for pointing out.
I’m not a child snatcher hones lol
Hmmmm well that’s a good one
Oh hold on I think it must mean issues but it must start with an n though as it’s next to b,well let’s make it a weekend puzzle lol
Hi Jw
Some one said on here last week about anger not belonging to adhd and it’s not part of it.
I feel as though yet I may loud and look or sound angry but it’s actually being Over passionate about the subject you believe in.
I’ve read it’s like having a kids tantrum.
So they say it’s a personality disorder
When obviously oftern we get caught up in the moment and the defensive comes up because ppl with adhd take a while longer than the norm to process the thoughts and it’s usually running on high emotion.
I mean if you wanted to be real deep.
Adhd actually has three sides to it which I why about 5 yrs ago I took stimulant tablets for adhd for one side none stimulants for adhd for another side but I never managed to find decent therapy.
It’s like some one being calm then but if it’s for no reason and it’s his make up is that not Jekyll and hide.
But then let’s face it every one has two sides.
One side when your at home and or in a family home life
The other side is when your at work with mates.
So my dad has adhd and I noticed it when I got diagnosed.he never knew about as it was just to late in life they hadn’t got the whole adhd theory masted.
So he used to shout all the bloody.
Your not good at this and that, always worked and never really interacted with me unless it was to his benefit.
But does that mean I learnt to shout like my dad at a young age or is it a little bi product of adhd.
They do say your adult hood is shaped from early on.
And yes omg before I was on the meds I would not get angry but frustrated for the fact I put somet down in front of me yet takes half hour to then find it.
I used to get frustrated and get annoyed and build and build just from pure frustration and that get might tiring all day.
What I’m managing to do is teach my self a new habit.
If I lose something.stop think for 3” seconds but as I do consciously slow my head and my brain and take a slower approach to this way of thinking.
Christ it’s not easy for the fact you’ve to recognise it first lol
