I wasn’t diagnosed till recently so I’ve been unmedicated until 2 months ago. I never had success with meditation. I have with yoga and praying. Along with my new medication I started a lot of supplements for adhd and brain health. I take a

Morning before food

B-complex and an extra b6

Alpha GPC

NAC

After breakfast

omega 3(higher EPA)

Vit d

Iron

PS (phosphatidyl serine)

When my meds start to wear off for the day

L-tyrosine

Evening

Vit C

Zinc

Magnesium Taurate

And before bed I drink Natures vitality CALM the calmful sleep formulation. That has

Melatonin (which is actually a powerful antioxidant)

Magnesium glycinate

GABA

L-theanine

I also have a 5-HTP which I haven’t started yet but plan to take maybe once a week before bed . But you have to be careful with that one

Specifically for anxiety the L-theanine is good

GABA is also good but a higher dose can make you want to sleep. I’ve also had Yogi Kava Stress relief tea. I was surprisingly effective! The “active” ingredient is the Kava root and it definitely takes the edge off of anxiety. I’ve never supplemented with just kava because the medication really decreased my anxiety so you should read up before you take it blindly. I do know you shouldn’t consume it if you have liver issues.

Magnesium on a regular bases also helps to keep you more relaxed but in my experience the L-theanine, GABA, and kava root pack more of a punch.

There’s probably more out there I just haven’t looked into it as much.

Hope this helps.
