I'm currently trying to find a psychiatrist that will take my Insurance, I was given this website as a form of information so here I am trying to get help. I leave in Pasadena, California I currently have Med-cal. I was advice by my psychologist at school to consult with a psychiatrist about ADHD.

Are you blessed to be close to a Amen Clinic? I would be jealous. Don't know if they take insurance. I ended up using my family doctor to prescribe my meds and see a therapist separately because it is hard to find Mental Health Doctors who specialize in ADHD because up until a few years ago, it wasn't something the Universities and Colleges trained them on in any detail. So the mental health field is playing catch up. So myths abound and many have gone undiagnosed.
