But they did not give up
really cool site, Corey. Thanks for sharing. (but wondering...what prompted you to post this)
A reminder that the appearance of minor setbacks should never be taken too seriously. Often the minor setbacks become long term gains, but we give up hope before we get the benefit. What could have turned out to be a comforting result ends up adding to anxiety because we never gave our selves the chance to succeee.
I’ve recently seen a lot of people on this site posting about how they feel condemned or trapped. Many of the people listed on that site are believed to have had adhd. They were all different. They changed the world even though they failed at times.
Rather than giving up an condemning themselves, they kept going. They looked at failure as a necessary step to the process of bettering themselves and they continued on to accomplish absolutely magnificent feats.
The world changes when we keep the proper thoughts in our heads, learn to trust ourselves and others, and always strive to be better tomorrow than we are today. Everyone has a purpose.
I’m currently facing my own fears as I dance away from my comfort zone and better myself. It’s scary but inspiring all the same.
Hope you are having a wonderful holiday!
