Hello!I'm a member of the Adult ADHD group here and have learned a lot over the past few years.

I'm almost 69 and was diagnosed at 54. It was a life-changing discovery, explaining my entire life and helping me gain some confidence and self- forgiveness.

Medications helped in the beginning (Vyvanse and Adderall), but when I was being treated for breast cancer - surgery, chemo and radiation - I stopped taking it. After treatment, I no longer tolerated any medication and had to stop taking it. We tried nine different ones.

I'm especially interested in talking with others who aren't medicated either, but I look forward to connecting with all women and participating in mutual lifting up and grace. The world is unkind to us already, and we need to stick together with and for each other. πŸ’›πŸŒ»

Thank you, and good health to you!⚘ The day after Christmas 2024 was my ten-year anniversary of surgery. Chemo and radiation followed, so this September I'll be ten years from all of my treatments. 🌻
