Hi, I'm 43 and waiting to be assessed for ADHD, my sister told me I have so many of the traits. Hyperactive, high/low moods, addiction, hard to bond with people, starting something 100% committed, then going on to something else. I'm exhausted

Hi! There is another group on Health Unlocked for adults. It’s called CHADD’s Adult ADHD or something like that. Might be a better fit 😊

hello! These are quite common traits, indeed. Congratulations on your upcoming eval. I wasn’t diagnosed until 39. Although you’re probably a parent (and exhausted because of that), this is definitely something for the adults with adhd group, rather than the parents one. The symptoms you say are definitely possible, but I wouldn’t diagnose yourself yet either.
