I think my life has always been supported by my family and my friends, and I honestly think I would be somewhere very different in life without them. If you need someone to talk to right now, you can talk to me or if I don't answer(sorry), you can talk with other people who do.

Sure, I'll vent.
My 16-year-old ADHD son recently re-started his meds. He wasn't that much more focused in online school but he was calm. However, he really didn't eat much and when he did want to eat he only wanted fast food. After six school days of being medicated, he woke up today and decided he didn't want medication ever again. It gave him headaches, it made him feel bad. He's not interested in other medications, either. Same thing with therapy, he's been in it for a long time and isn't interested in seeing someone new. Today being the latest example, his behavior is much worse when he's not medicated. And, he's following up a third quarter where he had THREE Ds (first time ever) with Fs currently in three classes. I'm torn between "not helping him and letting him learn from his mistakes" and "doing all I can to help him." I love him so so much, he's one of the best parts of my life, but I can't stand seeing him not try. And I hate delivering consequences for lack of effort in school, but I cannot let him go out and enjoy a social life for 10 hours a day on the weekends when he's not getting his work done at school. I'm also very, very tired of being on this roller-coaster where every day there's something that causes anxiety in me. I haven't had a great day in a long time.
Thanks for letting me vent.
Wow, I’m sorry, that sounds so tough. My son is only 8 but I can totally see this kind of dynamic happening with us in the future. Sending virtual hugs and support. I wonder about seeing a therapist just for you? I see someone who specializes in special needs families. She has teen clients so she can bring that perspective, and help me find that line to be supportive but not tolerate behaviors that are hurting our family. Also she encourages/“orders” me to find time for myself It is expensive though. And you were venting, not asking for advice! Sending hugs.
