Hi everyone, I'm interested in getting a diagnosis for my almost-6-year-old son. I have ADHD and he's showing every sign. Can anyone recommend a professional in the area? Thanks so much!

I am not familiar with the Houston area, but we started out just with our regular pediatrician for initial diagnosis. Others here have then included a pediatric psychiatrist for medication.

Hi Kassette, we live in Spring and our 8 year old son sees Dr. Michael Pope who has been great. We got the “official” diagnosis last year doing some expensive testing at the Woodlands Behavioral clinic which isn’t covered by insurance. Would be glad to answer any other questions you may have!

I can't recommend anyone since I am in MI. I did however get my grandchild diagnosed through Mental Health. Best Wishes

Your family psychiatrist in cypress is very good. We see Dr. Hinthorn and he is great with our son

I suggest Dr Kimberly Harrison ( The Conative Group) in Houston. She is excellent. Check out her website.
