Hi everyone, I am new here. I am a bit shy to join this network but am at my wits end so I need to. I am in my early 30's and have been diagnosed by a psychiatrist last year without a big investigation. I am from Europe.
Am looking for coaching but all those I have contacted so far have waiting lists of at least 4 months.
I am stuck, all the things which used to work have stopped working. My head is totally full and don't know how to get it empty..
Hope to find some support here.
Thanks in advance!

thank you very much. I will have to make an appointment on Monday, but also have to work. Luckily I will also see my psychiatrist on Monday after work.
Jessica is wonderful, I got to know her channel last week. Never seen anything as good as her videos.
If you are seeing a psychiatrist on Monday, no need to see PCP. Psychiatrist are the best equipped to deal with adhd.
My daughter is on Focalin XL in the mornings and Focalin short action in the afternoon. She is managing but I have to be on top of her to get her moving. Also, check Dr. Amen, Dr Berkley in YouTube and get cognitive behavioral therapy. This requires team work and I hope your family can help you too. Best of luck
Lol! My husband is the same! Shortly after the ADHD diagnosis, my son also got diagnosed for Tourette Syndrome, which definitely had the silver lining of everyone taking it seriously now and that I’m not just making it up.
In the meantime, I know signs, notes, checklists & timers has helped our household ALOT. Though my son is the one diagnosed, my husband & I definitely have our own similar weaknesses. So having things visual really help everyone.
I have found "How to ADHD" and "Understood" on youtube to be helpful. Usually forcing myself to do the "fun" things only after I do what I have to do, has worked. Well usually
Whenever you contact someone with a long waiting list, ask for suggestions on who to call that might have room. It will save you blind calling and you might learn about new resources. I have found some of our best resources by following the trail of suggested contacts. Also, there are great resources on-line. Don’t give up.
