NF and ADD

In a few days I am going to be starting my undiagnosed 12 yr old. ADD daughter on neurofeedback (NF) treatment. She isn't or has ever been medicated. It has worked great for my son for other issues. I am wondering if anyone has ever used NF to treat ADD and what was your experience? Did it help, was there any improvement? Did you see any difference? How many sessions did you do and what was the outcome?

No but I will be curious to see if this helps thought about looking into this too

My son had NF when he was in 2nd grade and was first diagnosed. I was not comfortable going the med route until I tried different options. Sorry to say it did not work for him. He went to 40 sessions. I ended up putting him on meds by 3rd grade and he is doing so much better. He is now 13 and in 7th grade. I hope you get better results. I was so praying it would work for my son. Best of luck to you.

Thanks Kam. I'm sorry that it did not work out, that's frustrating and disappointing. I feel like things I've heard goes either way, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I hope I am doing the right thing by trying this and I'm hoping it will be successful.
