Having issues with teacher or is it just me ??

I feel like one teacher is just not wanting to deal with my son...i know she's constantly complaining about him using his mechanical pencil in her class because when it breaks he gets up will we talk and he wasn't going to get mad will he took it out today and he didn't get upset about it breaking but asked him to put it away he didn't want to he says mom everyone has one why can't I he said I didn't get mad I got mad because she said he couldn't have it and hell broke loose he threw books and got upset....got sent to the office and got recess taken away for 3 days is it me or does the teacher just not like my son because she don't want to deal with him....i getso depressed but angry at the same time don't know how I should feel they treat him different

my son has been at the same school for 5 years with only minor incidents. one of his teachers this year gas no oroblem telling him hes annoying. im teaching him that everyone is not nice and to remember to talk quietly in her class.

That's unacceptable. I am so sorry that his teacher felt it was okay to say that to him. He's already dealing with enough without her negative comments. You should definitely speak with the principal and tell them if this teacher is not equipped to work with your child, they need to find someone who is.

Sometimes the teacher doesn't know how to work with children with ADHD. They feel the child is making up reasons not to do the work. They do not understand that some kids with ADHD works best moving around, taking short breaks here and there to help them regain focus and work of some of that energy. What I did was speak with the school psychologist and she came up with a Behavior plan for my son and his teacher. I meet with them once a month sometimes once a week to see what's working and what's not working.

F.Y.I taking recess away from him will only make things worse. Get in touch with your child's therapist (if he's seeing one) have them write a letter to the school telling them what he needs
