Ok been to doc's I'm fine lol

From my last post I asked if there was any walking clubs in my area as I'm new and would like to get involved . I would like to do hill walking and the fells do looking for a club or someone to show me the ropes any ideas please direct me in the right direction please.

Do you have a local paper. I know most local papers have a rambling column in every week. That's one thing I miss in London is a local newspaper. ☹️.

As already suggested, you could try the local paper, but also:

ramblers.org.uk/

Who could put you in touch with local groups.

If you want to be active, meet people you could look at SPICE

spiceuk.com/

They do a lot of walks and other activities.

If you live in an area such as the Peak District, Lake District, Dales, Moors, etc. you could Google 'walking' in your location and see what comes up.

Good luck and, maybe just start walking anyway - listen to music, learn a language, catch up with podcasts, while you're doing it?
