Hi, I'm new to this. Feeling like I need more support - has anyone got any success stories (big or small) relating to treatment of fibromyalgia, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) or osteoporosis? What has worked for you? What have you tried?

Success stories anyone?
Hi there. I can't answer any of your questions, I'm afraid. But I was wondering how you were diagnosed with the CRPS? My rheumatologist told me I "probably" have it but didn't do any testing on me as I was seeing him for something else, once he diagnosed my other condition (DISH), he them said he wouldn't need to see me anymore, that my gp could follow up with everything! Do I was a bit annoyed to say the least. I have looked into CRPS and it does drunk like I have it, but was just wondering how its really diagnosed.
Thanks x
Hi Vintagegirl13,
It has also been pretty vague for me. Mine's in my foot and it was a nhs podiatrist that thought it might be CRPS and wrote to my doctor. Then i think my doctor referred me to a vascular specialist to check the circulation. He said whatever he was testing for was fine and it probably was CPRS so i got sent to a pain clinic and offered various painkillers. Not sure if there was a proper diagnosis. Ive since been discharged from pain clinic and am now going it alone. Ive been massaging my foot to desensitize it, and am trying to build up activity by very small amounts to try and nudge it through witbout a flareup. Hope tbis helps. And good luck.
