Still in agony

Hello I have MRI and doctor said I have ware and tear on the bottom of my spine he said not to worry I am booked in for spinal injections but it's 3 months away I have 2 kids and I can hardly put my socks on it feels like someone standing on my back I feel helpless and in agony all the time

Hard going I imagine. I hope you are aware that the steroid injections don't always work for everyone and the only for a while. Mine do on one part of my spine but only last 4 months and the pain clinic only give them every year. It can be demoralising,

Is it osteoarthritis you have ? Mine started in my early forties but I managed to keep it from bothering me too much for a decade by working very hard to build up muscle around the area to support the weakness. I also went to pI latest and Tai Chi to maintain flexibility.

Its so important to manage a condition like osteoarthritis .

I'm male 38 osteoarthritis was brought on by steroids creams and sometimes the injections don't work but I was on butrans patch but made me ill and they never tried anything else I complained about him so he is not seeing me anymore

I am a bit confused by osteoarthritis brought on by steroids. I was aware that steroids can bring on osteoporosis but have never heard of the connection with osteoarthritis
