Can I ask about size of tumours and what drs are more concerned with before offering treatment please?
Mine is 20 MM in the IAC extending to 14 by 12 MM in the CPA … is it the CPA size that determines treatment?
TIA

multiple things will discrete the treatment. Size symptoms and location.
It’s highly likely they’ll want to try gamma knife first before surgery.
Hi Sheryl, like steve says, it seems treatment is determined by many different things, with watch and wait nearly always being the first approach as many of these never grow again or need treatment after discovery. Whilst initially we may think ‘ get it out’ they really are liveable with and the team will advise the best thing for your situation. I did have 3 sessions of radiation treatment for a 25mm one after 18 months on watch and wait. I’d really got my head around it all by then and it was WAY easier than I feared. There is good support and information out there via brainstrust and BANA, you are not alone! Focus on looking after yourself and the things that help destress you, and trust you’ll be looked after. This silly squatter won’t kill you and you adapt 💐 Lin
