How to register with a neuroma?

In 2022, I came to Scotland from Ukraine. In 2013, I underwent radiosurgery for a brain neuroma. How can I now register and be examined in the UK? GP sent me to a neurologist and said that I had to wait 51 weeks for an appointment. Is it possible to get an examination faster?

Unless you have worsening symptoms, the only way to get a quicker appointment is to go privately. In England your GP can refer you to a private consultant who will see you very quickly but will charge you several hundred pounds for it. I don't know, but I assume that Scotland is the same in that respect?
