Cost of Gamma Knife in Australia?

Hi,

I’m due to see my nuerologist about latest brain mri’s and am arming myself with knowledge before I go.

I live in Canberra Australia and looks like there are 3 places in Australia that perform Gamma Knife (Stereotactic Radiosurgery) Brisbane, Sydney and Perth.

The Perth site said they are the only hospital with no out of pocket expenses and is 100% coverred by Medicare.

Has anyone in Australia got guidance on approx costs of Gamma Knife in Sydney (closest to me) and Brisbane?
