I'm not a trained professional in mind healthcare. What I am, however, is someone who lives with the constant possibility of becoming unable to function where I am at any given moment. What I am is the victim of past traumatic events that have caused permanent issues for me to deal with.
I can't tell anyone that this or that technique will help them in any way, other than express what they've done or not done for me. But that's why a site of this kind is so important to my mental health walk; it allows me to share my stuff, and learn other people's stuff, and just maybe, we can help each other, even if in only small ways.
