I’m currently dealing with a situation in which mh mental health problems how now left me completely isolated in my life. I have lost friends and now I have lost my significant other. I’ve been going to therapy and started medication. As well and it seems like I’ve fed up those around me.
Now I feel so alone with no one to turn to.

I agree to a certain extent that we hold the power to what we may feel. But it gets pretty disappointing, when you know you would be there for them in their time of need no matter what. The same is not done for you. It just reinforces my train of thought to just deal with everything on my own, and not ever ask for help or rely on someone else.
Dear Leading, I can relate to the self destructive behavior. Wished I knew the magic answer. The little I've figured out is, worry and ruminating can really fan the flames. Give yourself 1 hour of scheduled time to be lost in these self deprivating thoughts. Accept what you feel, and move on. Try something new, go for a walk, yoga, all new kinds of treatments coming out these days. Look into what interests you, therapy or other.
Funny pet videos, my fave, and please continue to be involved with those around you. ( like they've never frustrated you before! But you continued to stand by them ) it's super easy to crawl up in our own heads, and these times are when you need friends and family the most. Plus they can be a huge gauge for telling you if your getting better. We can't always tell, cause we live inside. If you could find one person to be completely open with, they can give you honest feedback in return. Much luck, oh and just because you need extra help, or meds, now now doesn't mean it'll always be this way. Much Love, to LeadingwithLove.
