About 2 weeks ago I had some blood tests at the GP
surgery
, received a text telling me I was pre diabetic and offering me to join a program to make health choices etc. I was shocked, so was my GP.

Poor communication or misunderstanding?
I saw my NHS Consultant on Monday about my leg pain and inability to walk when flaring and we discussed my
surgery
etc and I left the appointment feeling pretty deflated.

Had to have
surgery
to remove the valve between my stomach and small intestine and part of the intestine. Little appetite, can't eat normal size meals, and problematic BMs. Sigh. Have to use a walker. Have lost so much weight, I look like people who are starving.......

Any suggestions please.
I've had three oral fungal infections in the past year and so l saw an oral
surgery
consultant yesterday for my burning mouth which is very painful. I use vagifem, no other hrt. Last period 7 years ago. I have followed an anticandida diet for 25 years. Feel desperate.

Total Knee Replacement tips with RA
My last
surgery
almost 3 years ago put me in an instant flare after
surgery
and recovery was a journey. I do have my husband to help me with things so I’m grateful I don’t live alone but I would like to be as prepared for this
surgery
as I can be. Thank you in advance 🙏

is Gabapentin helping me?
BTW he has said I can take Buprenorphine and I think my GP
surgery
will prescribe it, but am putting that off for now as I know it will make me very constipated as I’m prone to that.

Anxiety and loneliness
That was due to a thyroid condition that I had
surgery
for, but continued with anxiety and panic attacks. I couldn't drive, hyperventilated, could not go grocery shopping due to panic attacks. After understanding anxiety and also help from xanax, It took me 5 yrs and I was fine and happy.

Verzenio
So far had
surgery
, radiation and currently on Letrozole. I am considered high risk. Did not do chemo because it is not always effective with lobular cancer. Oncologist wants to put me on Verzenio but I am reluctant due to side effects.

Adenomyosis advice
Hi all, I was diagnosed with endo after a laparoscopy in 2022, and about 2 months after the
surgery
I started to suffer from pelvic pain and lower back pain, which I have never had before and it didn't seem to be linked to any injury etc.

Low eye pressure
Immediately after
surgery
the pressure dropped to 3 but gradually over eight months increased to 6, although the macula wasn’t flat and causing distorted vision I became used to it and the consultant was happy not to do an adjustment.

I asked GP
surgery
for cholesterol blood test to see if it had gone down further and particularly if bad cholesterol had gone down. However on looking at NHS app for results, nothing about cholesterol levels.

Total Hip Replacement Decision
I want to try to find out if my bones can take this
surgery
. I have no idea if that is even a possibility. Have you had a total hip replacement? What was your experience, what precautions were taken? Thanks so much!

Surgery and PMR dose
I’m due to have
surgery
in 10 days time for a couple of hernia repairs. I am currently in the second week of reducing Prednisolone from 2mg to 1.5mg, over a five week period. At the time of starting the taper, I didn’t know of the confirmed operation date.

My cancer journey-
I had
surgery
and several different treatment protocols. I’m now facing my 3rd recurrence and about to decide, under the guidance of my wonderful oncologist, which treatment will be next. I feel fortunate that I’ve never suffered a lot of pain and that there are a lot of new treatment options.
